What We Provide

Servicing

Following the recommended service schedules we will always maintain the efficient running of your car whatever the model. Every service is carried out to, and beyond manufacturer’s specifications using original parts and Valvoline oils.
Every car on every service undergoes a thorough check over using our own Industry standard service checklist. This provides you with a report on any critical or desirable work that may be required.

MOT

All vehicles over 3 years old are required by UK law to have an annual safety check or MOT, in the interests of road safety and environmental standards. It’s the responsibility of the owner to renew their MOT certificate and without it, you are unable to drive your vehicle legally, or renew your road fund license.
The earliest date to MOT your vehicle can be found on your last MOT certificate, but you can have an MOT test completed up to one month before the expiry of your current MOT, without it affecting the annual expiry date.
The MOT process is governed by strict rules set down by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA), which means, what we check at SKS, is exactly the same as the things carried out by approved MOT centres.

Tyres

You should never underestimate the importance of good tyres and what they do for your car. Good tyres are first of all your guarantee for a safe and comfortable ride. Tyres and the air inside them support the weight of your car therefore, absorbing road shocks, the air or nitrogen in the tyres act as a spring and this dramatically increases your comfort. We stock a range of budget to branded tyres or we can order your tyre of choice in.

Engine diagnostics

Car diagnostic tests scan your car’s components and systems to check for issues with components like the engine, transmission, oil tank, throttle, and many more. Modern vehicles are much more digitized than people may be aware of. Specialized software works whenever your car’s engine is powered on to monitor various features and create data reports that can then be collected and analysed during a car diagnostic test.
